Transport

Roads - Great Yarmouth is situated at the junction of the A47 and A12. The A47 gives excellent access to Norwich, and from there via the A11/A14 to the Midlands and beyond.  The A12 runs south to Felixstowe, Ipswich and London.

Shipping - Great Yarmouth has a 24-hour accessible port which has been servicing the offshore gas industry for over 40 years.  More recently, its services and expertise have been used in the development of onshore and offshore wind farms in the region. The new £45m East Port outer harbour development fulfils a regional requirement for deep-water berths.

Rail - The town benefits from good rail connections to Norwich, from where frequent services operate to London and the South, and the Midlands.

Air - Norwich International Airport, with air services to the major commercial centres in the UK, with three flights daily and one at the weekend to Aberdeen, two daily and one Sunday to Manchester, two daily, one at the weekend to Edinburgh, together with mainland Europe and worldwide via Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, with three flights daily and two at weekends.
