Significant Planning Application made

Tuesday 19th July 2011

As development continues at a pace of the HQ and production premises for NCL, a detailed Planning Application has just been submitted for another even bigger office and production plant at the premiere Park in East Norfolk.  Measuring in total over 76,000 sq ft (7,000 sq m), the development will have prestigious headquarter offices totalling 21,600 sq ft (2,004 sq m) and a production floor of 38,187 sq ft (3,549 sq m) and 10,889 sq ft (1,012 sq m) of production offices.  The development will also be future proofed to allow for expansion and will sit on a prominent site of 5.89 acres with frontage to Beaufort Way, the Park's main spine road.

The premises are for a major employer and the Beacon Park team is now working closely with architects, the Paul Robinson Partnership LLP, on a detailed delivery plan.  It is hoped that construction will start on site later this year.

This development will bring forward the provision of even more roads and infrastructure, unlocking further land which is just waiting for occupiers!  This has already been through the design stage and has approval, so can be delivered as soon as it is required.

Steve Ames, Leader of the Council said, "this is great news for Beacon Park and the town as a whole, with development gaining a pace delivering quality premises that have never before been available in Great Yarmouth.  The Park is rapidly gaining a reputation for being the place to locate to in the sub-region."

Look out for more news in the near future with agreements being finalised for occupiers at Wellington Park and Blackfriars Court, subsidiaries of Beacon Park.
