The newest occupier to the site will be Norfolk Capacitors Limited, with a headquarters and production facility immediately adjoining the East Anglian Ambulance Depot and on the corner of Excalibur and Lancelot Roads.
The facility will include the provision of prestigious reception and office accommodation with high quality staff welfare facilities including canteen and showers, with a total area of 10,624 sq ft (987 sq m). Purpose designed, high quality production areas with a total area of 19,913 sq ft (1,850 sq m), complete with ancillary accommodation for compressors and services.
The building occupies a site of 2.5 acres. Externally there will be plenty of car parking and landscaping to compliment the high quality parkland established within Beacon Park.
"The success of several new products in recent years has meant our production facilities have become rather congested", explained Managing Director, John Murfitt, "but I am now delighted to confirm we'll be moving to a new modern factory with much more space, enabling us to offer a greater product range and shorter lead times."
"This new facility will mean we can offer a better service to our loyal customers and increase our market share, while building on our success by exploiting new opportunities, especially in the growing renewable energy sector, in the months and years ahead" he added.
The engineering and production floor space is due for completion and handover in the middle of 2011, with the offices due for completion by Christmas.
Robin Neve, Property Services Manager, Great Yarmouth Borough Council said "we are pleased to welcom John and team at NCL to Beacon Park and are sure that his foresight in choosing the Park will be rewarded with the efficiencies of working in bespoke modern premises."
